The year 2022 holds a number of exciting games in store. However, we’ve seen in the past that the competition for the Game of the Year title at The Game Awards can be strong — due to the wide range of games.
Do you have any idea what was terrific about the first four months of 2022? Don’t worry, we’ve compiled a list of the top five games released in 2022 so far. It’s important to remember that they were chosen at random even though several of these are in my personal top three.
Elden Ring
“Elden Ring” one of FromSoftware’s most ambitious projects, proposed combining the Soulsborne-style gaming concept with a rich open environment. This earned the game praises from both specialized critics and the general public, making it one of the best-selling game to this day.
Anyone who ventures into the Midlands will be met with unrelenting foes and stunning scenery.
Horizon Forbidden West
And one of the most eagerly anticipated sequels has finally arrived. Still playing as Aloy, players will confront harder obstacles in a larger world with more dangers as well as the reappearance of familiar faces.
The number of equipment available to aid the player in advance through the journey is the main focus here.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus
The game launched with the promise of bringing something new to the Pokémon universe in the form of a completely new gameplay experience. The game’s vast world along with the fighting system and a diverse Pokédex helped it become a commercial success.
Later this year, the game should receive DLC that adds fresh material to the game.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Kirby was a wonderful surprise when he came. Despite the fact that the character was the same as before, the addition of certain new elements gave the game a fresh feel, making it one of the most enjoyable games to date.
Ghostwire: Tokyo
The player can experience yet another work by Shinji Mikami, the creator of “Resident Evil.” Set in Japan and inhabited by numerous creatures.
The title stands out for its dark atmosphere and utilization of numerous components for player immersion with several cultural connections to the region, in addition to the execution of famous Japanese horror legends.
